- From under a hilltop apple tree we have an early autumn view of what could be either the Apostle Islands on Wisconsin’s northern most tip, or the Door County peninsula, which sits between Green Bay and Lake Michigan. In the foreground a house wren and monarch butterfly sit among the grasses and wildflowers, while off in the distance sailboats float on the cool blue waters.
